My name is Jennifer Hayek and I am a resident in counseling. I was born in Lebanon and came to the U.S 20 years ago as an immigrant and have been living in Virginia ever since. I am working towards my permanent License in Professional Counseling in the state of Virginia and pursuing my PhD in General Psychology at Grand Canyon University. Experiencing a diverse background firsthand, I am very curious when it comes to different cultures and religions.
My therapeutic approach is centered on active listening, empathy, and validating your feelings. I aim to build a strong therapeutic alliance with clients, grounded in understanding, respect, and trust, and work collaboratively to achieve your goals. Outside of professional life, I enjoy exploring the world by visiting different countries and trying diverse cultural cuisines.
